 East Avenue Grocery Run

November 5-7, 2021

Hunger is real. The 2020 race is virtual.

Hunger is Real - The 2021 East Ave Grocery Run is Virtual for now!

Thanks to our generous sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers, the 2020 Virtual East Avenue Grocery Run raised more than $55,000 for Rochester-area food pantries. This money will provide nutritious meals to thousands of hungry seniors, children and families in our community.

The 2021 Race will be virtual - for now...
We are looking forward to another Virtual Grocery Run on the first weekend in November, 2021. If we are able to have a limited participation live event, our pre-registered participants will be notified of this option on a first-come, first-served basis, according to registration date.

Check back on this page, like us on Facebook and follow eastavenuegroceryrun on Instagram - so you'll be the first to know details as they develop!

Thank you for your loyal support of the East Avenue Grocery Run!

"Giving back to the Rochester community is a core value of SMP. Since 2013, our support of the East Avenue Grocery Run has exemplified our People First philosophy. Not only does the event raise funds for an honorable and deserving cause, it provides a fun, family friendly atmosphere and is extremely well organized. Sponsoring the Boogie for Broccoli children's fun run enables SMP to promote physical activity and social consciousness among Rochester-area youth. Each year it is a pleasure to work with the East Avenue Grocery Run committee to support hunger-relief programs in our region."
