Join us in-person or virtually for the 14th annual East Avenue Grocery Run to benefit Rochester-area food pantries!
We’re psyched to announce the Grocery Run will be adding a 10k route to our 14th Annual Grocery Run in-person races. Participants can choose from 10k, 5k, or 1-mile- all 3 routes are flat and fast. And all 3 offer the same fun, camaraderie and festive party after you finish! Note- the 5k and 1 mile are open to runners or walkers. However, the 10K has a 1 hour 15 minute cut off.
Virtual participants can choose any distance to run, bike, walk, swim or stroll - anywhere, anytime between November 3rd and 5th. Recruit your friends and family to participate with you, no matter where they live!
Either way, you’ll feel great knowing your entire registration fee will go directly to Rochester-area organizations providing food, hope and dignity for hungry people.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers, the 2022 East Avenue Grocery Run raised more than $57,000 for Rochester-area food pantries. This money will provide nutritious meals to thousands of hungry seniors, children and families in our community. |

"Giving back to the Rochester community is a core value of SMP. Since 2013, our support of the East Avenue Grocery Run has exemplified our People First philosophy. Not only does the event raise funds for an honorable and deserving cause, it provides a fun, family friendly atmosphere and is extremely well organized. Sponsoring the Boogie for Broccoli children's fun run enables SMP to promote physical activity and social consciousness among Rochester-area youth. Each year it is a pleasure to work with the East Avenue Grocery Run committee to support hunger-relief programs in our region." — Nikki Reynolds, Wellness Director at SMP, Grocery Run sponsor since 2013 Vertical Divider
