What makes the Grocery Run so special?
Since 2010, the East Avenue Grocery Run has raised more than $330,000 for local food pantries and emergency meal programs. Our awesome sponsors cover the costs of our event, so you can feel great knowing your registration fee goes directly to feed hungry people. We hope you’ll join us virtually the first weekend of November!
Where does the money go?
The 2020 Grocery Run provided funding to 23 Rochester-area food cupboards and emergency meal programs. This money puts food on the table for thousands of hungry children, families and senior citizens! When you register and fundraise for the Grocery Run, your contributions go directly to provide food, hope and dignity for our neighbors in need. Please join us on November 5-7, 2021! How do I register?
Click here to register If you have a favorite food pantry, join their team and your registration fee will benefit that organization!
Can my registration fee go to my favorite food pantry?
Yes! When you register, you will be given a chance to join or create a team. Check the list of teams for your favorite pantry and join the team, or create a team for any registered 501 c (3) hunger organization. Your registration fee will go directly to that organization.
Can I get a shirt after the deadline?
Sorry, but no. We order exactly the number of shirts we need as of October 14th. Since we want to raise as much money as we can for hungry people in Rochester, we don’t order extra shirts. If a shirt is important to you, please register by the posted deadline.
